We envision...

A world where children feel safe, seen, and free to form healthy family connections.

Our Mission

We are a registered nonprofit organisation committed to restoring and strengthening relationships between children and their families by providing safe, structured spaces for reconnection.

We support children and their caregivers to rebuild trust, improve communication, and navigate conflict in a way that prioritises the well-being of the child.

Our Story

The Samuel Lawson Foundation was born out of deep personal loss.

Samuel Lawson was the son of the Foundation’s founders, Ernest and Jade Lawson, who was stillborn at 38 weeks.

His loss left a profound absence and a connection that could no longer be held. From that experience came a clear and enduring commitment: no family should lose a connection with a child where it can be protected, supported, and preserved.

Through her legal work in family law, our founder, Advocate Jade Lawson, has seen firsthand how often children are caught in the middle of conflict, with limited structures in place to support safe and meaningful relationships. In many cases, the connection is strained or lost, not because it cannot be repaired, but because the right support is not available at the right time.

The Samuel Lawson Foundation was established in response to this need.

The Foundation provides safe, structured spaces where children and their families can reconnect, rebuild trust, and navigate conflict in ways that prioritise the child’s wellbeing.

Samuel’s life continues through this work. His legacy lives in every connection the Foundation helps protect and restore.

We’re building more than centres. We’re building a movement, of people who believe children deserve safety, dignity, and connection.
